If one thinks deeper into its meaning one may realize that no one day is the same. What happened yesterday has past and the events of tomorrow are still unknown. Live and breath each day to its fullest with energy, happiness, and the knowledge that we are all truly blessed. For some, their time with us is cut way too short, and therefore, the saying "living in the moment" must be at top of all of our lists! This blog is dedicated to Michael and Bryan, whom I love with all my heart!

Thanks....
As we express our gratitude, we must never forget that the highest appreciation is not to utter words, but to live by them." - John Fitzgerald Kennedy
Thanksgiving...its meaning...its symbolism... As W.J. Cameron stated, "Thanksgiving, after all, is a word of action." One can be thankful for so many things in this world, our health, family, the roof over our head, the food on the table, the job we have, but what about those who do not have any or all of those things. Sometimes we get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life. What new car to buy, latest styles in shoes and handbags, where to travel next. Being thankful for what we have before us is so important for each and every person to acknowledge. But the word that intrigues me the most is "giving". How many of us truly give whether it is to someone in our family down and out, to a friend in despair, or to a stranger living on the street? This is something I am going to ponder today, tomorrow, and all the way up til Thanksgiving 2011 when I can hopefully say that not only I have thanks for what is before me but that I have given as much of me that I can to the betterment of society.
